If you want to experiment with literary styles and stretch your creative wings, then write for a fictional blog about fatherhood,  make-up a persona and write from his point of view.  If you want to write honestly about your own personal parenting experiences (which is what I thought this blog was about) then do that.  People want to know what they are reading.  I fear that without a clear objective, your work will appear muddled and contrived.
